This historic residence on the East Side of Providence needed a new parking area. The space available however, was very small and required some design and engineering savvy. Since the grade of the land dropped off signifcantly, large retaing walls needed to be constructed. These walls were faced with a stone veneer to match the existing walls. The surface of the parking area is concrete with exposed aggregate. Additionally, there is accent lighting integrated within the risers of the connected stairs, ornamental metal hand railings, as well as plantings and landscaping to complete the project.
